This page outlines how to find a New Zealand Toastmasters Club.
The New Zealand Toastmasters Club Finder database is located on a separate website. Please visit http://www.toastmasters-clubfinder.org.nz/ to search for a Club by region or city, or a District Officer.
This database is managed by the Directory Officer.
You can also use the "unofficial" Meeting Locator Map on external website to view the meeting location of most New Zealand Clubs on a map with their details. Only clubs with valid geocodable addresses are listed. Some clubs have no fixed meeting place, are within a campus and cannot be easily located, they move or the address information is incorrect on the Toastmasters International database. Use these maps with that in mind. This website is maintained by Nigel Reed DTM in the United States.
Updates to the New Zealand Toastmasters Club Finder are done online by an authorised club member or officer.
Please email directory@toastmasters.org.nz to request a club login, or follow the instructions on screen to login if you know your club login and password.
Don't forget to update your club information on the World Headquarters website as well using the instructions below.
Clubs need to advise World Headquarters of some changes. Go to the WHQ Club and Officer Change Form. Choose the Login link in the left panel under Meeting Locations on the Members site. A valid personal login and password is required.
Very important note: You must update your club meeting address correctly and follow the link to the geocode mapper to pinpoint the exact location of your meeting venue. It seems the WHQ database takes the 2nd address field and uses that to build the drop down list of town/cities. Therefore your exact street address, including a number, your suburb and city should be correctly typed in the right order in the Place and City fields, otherwise the Google Map will be unable to pinpoint your club meeting location.
You should double-check your location pin marker on the front end of the WHQ website by listing your club in the Club Finder, to ensure that the map doesn't have your meeting venue on a the top of a mountain, in the middle of the ocean, or in the wop wops in some random country!
If you are really stuck or lost or in a hurry, or have a specific question, just email webmaster@toastmasters.org.nz and we'll get back to you as soon as practicable.
