District Awards

This page gives an overview of the District 112 Club and Individual Awards, and International Awards, and should be regarded as a 'work in progress. 

Being a Toastmaster comes with numerous advantages, rewards and official recognitions.

District 112 is in the process of developing several awards which can be awarded to Clubs, individual Toastmasters or members of the public to recognise and celebrate exceptional achievement or remarkable service.

District 112 Citations

The District 112 Citations are presented at the Annual District Conference to deserving members to acknowledge outstanding Toastmasters who have made contributions to their clubs/divisions and the district, as well as the organisation, usually over several years.

District 112 Retention and Membership Award

This award is presented at the Annual District Conference by the Immediate Past District Governor/Director to the Division which excelled in both membership growth and membership retention during the preceding Toastmasters year.

Long Service Awards

The District 112 Long Service Awards are presented at the  Annual District Conference by the Club Growth Director to District 112 Toastmasters who have achieved 25 years of cumulative membership with Toastmasters International.

Presidential Citations

A Presidential Citation is a Toastmasters International recognition for outstanding contributions to Toastmasters, not necessarily limited to the District.

Toastmaster of the Year

The District 112 Toastmaster of the Year Award is presented at the Annual District Conference to a District 112 Toastmaster who has demonstrated exemplary understanding of the Toastmasters values and made outstanding contributions to Toastmasters in District 112 in the preceding year. Nominations are accepted from any Toastmaster.
