On 19 July 2006 I was very pleased to attend the 20th anniversary celebrations of my home club, Public Service Toastmasters 6336 of Wellington, New Zealand. Three of the club's charter members were able to be present at the celebratory dinner and they together cut the anniversary cake. Some 60 past and present Toastmasters and their partners were in attendance. The dinner was held in a private room at the Tulsi Indian Restaurant.

The action packed programme included award presentations, several prepared speeches and a series of Table Topics for past members. The latter in particular were received with great humour!

Various awards were presented by Immediate Past President Tony Green and Alex McClymont, current Club President, gave gifts to thank each of the prepared speech speakers.
