The Charter dinner to celebrate the opening of PwC Proclaimers Club was held on May 31st, at a Thai Restaurant in Auckland City, a delicious meal, and fine conversation followed.
Sarah Bate CTM gave a Toast to the new club, and in place of Table Topics, we had a round-robin discussion about what Toastmasters means to each of the members, introduced by Peter Yeates, it is clear that there
will be a number of fine speakers emerging from this club.
The sponsors were Kevin Warwood DTM and Brian Shackleton DTM, and the mentors were Alun Chisholm DTM, and Alan Wellington CTM. The Club chose individual and innovative gifts for each of the team.
At the conclusion of the meeting, District Governor Kevin Warwood presented the Club Banner to Incoming President Robyn MacKay, and Charter Member certificates to each the new members.
PwC Proclaimers is one of three clubs chartered in Division A this year, and is sponsored by Price Waterhouse Coopers.
