21-22 June 2008 Incoming District Officer Training, Quality Inn, Auckland.  Full travel reimbursement.

Club and Officer Information submitted to World Headquarters

All 2007-08 Award applications submitted to World Headquarters

30 June Toastmasters Year ends

1 July 2008

District and Club Officers officially take office
Area Governor 1st round club visits begin

1 July-31 August Club Officer Training Divisions A-G
Mid July Distinguished District Results announced by Toastmasters International
31 July TI Proxies to District Governor
Early August District 72 Toastmaster of the Year Award announced

Club Contests completed. For those clubs who have not yet held their Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contests.  Notify Area Governors of winners.

10-16 August International Convention in Calgary, Canada

31 August

Club Officer Training for 2008-09, 1st round, completed

August

Clubs send out Dues Invoice to members

September Area Contests completed.  For those Areas who have not yet held their Humorous and Table Topics Contests.  Notify Division Governors of winners.
6-7 September District Officer Training, Quality Inn, Auckland. Reimbursement by schedule.
30 September Dues Renewals due at WHQ

30 September

Club Officer Training, 1st round, registered at World Headquarters, online or deadline postmark

30 September

Area Governor 1st round club visits completed

4 October

Divisions A, B and C Conference if chosen to run two Conferences this calendar year.
Division finals of the Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contests (if not already held)

10 October Last day second round of Dues Renewals are registered at WHQ by 5 pm (USA Pacific Time) for DCP points

11 October

Divisions D, E, F & G Conference
Division finals of the Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contests (if not already held)

31 October

Area Governor 1st club visit forms deadline

14-16 November District Officer Training, District Executive Meeting and District Council Meeting at District Convention, Dunedin. Reimbursement by Schedule.

1 December-28 February

Club Officer Training, 2nd round, begins

For Toastmasters Year continuing 1 January 2009

Area Governor, 2nd round club visits begin (forms mailed from WHQ to Area Governors with 31 December District Performance Report)

17 January Top four meet in Tauranga to review strategy for remainder of Toastmasters year
during February Clubs send out Dues Invoice to members

28 February

Club Officer Training, 2nd round, completed

end February Club Speech contests to be completed
7-8 March District Officer Training.  Quality Inn, Auckland.  Reimbursement by Schedule

Dues Renewals to New Zealand Dues Renewals Officer, Rotorua (if not sent direct to WHQ)

Club Officer Training, 2nd round, last day reports can be registered at World Headquarters, (must be postmarked by 31 March if sent by mail)

End March Area Speech Contests to be completed

By 30 June All clubs advise WHQ of new club officers using website form

By 30 June

Clubs register all educational awards

30 June

Club and Officer Information submitted to World Headquarters.

Toastmasters Year ends.

1 July 2009

New Toastmaster Year begins.  New Club, District and Field Officers take office.  Good luck!
