This page lists the status for producing the District and Club Directories for the 2010-11 Toastmasters year.
Clubs:
- Updating the NZ website Club Finder with new club contact and meeting details between Sunday 27 and Tuesday 29 June - COMPLETED
- Removing clubs which have folded, and adding new clubs in formation - COMPLETED
- Adding a new Area in Division G and moving clubs around - COMPLETED
- Changing the email redirection system for the new club officers on Wednesday 30 June - COMPLETED
- Production of the new Club Directory by Friday 2 July - FINAL VERSION ISSUED 7 JULY BY EMAIL TO ALL CLUBS AND DISTRICT OFFICERS
District Officers
- Changing the email redirection system for new district officers on Wednesday 30 June - COMPLETED
- Updating the People Finder with new district officer contact details on Saturday 3 July - COMPLETED
- Production of the new District Directory by Friday 2 July - FINAL VERSION ISSUED 7 JULY TO ALL DISTRICT OFFICERS
- Updating the Contact Us and About Us pages on the website with District Addresses and Profiles - Contact Us updates completed, Profiles to do
District Email Spam Filters
The spam filters are checked daily by the District Webmaster. Occasionally a few spam emails get through the system before it "learns" that bulk emails sent to clubs and district officers are "spam" and they are blocked. If you are uncertain whether an email is suspicious or not, please do not open it. Contact the District Webmaster for advice.
Clubs and District Officers should always use the generic Toastmasters email address, so that all emails go through the spam filters. Messages sent to personal email accounts are not spam-protected.
Further updates
Mike Diggins has agreed to continue processing updates to the Directory from July - October while I am busy studying.
