For Toastmasters Year from 1 July 2009
23-24 May 2009	TLI and Club Extension Officers Training, Silver Oaks Inn (formerly Quality Inn), 477 Gt South Road, Papatoetoe, Auckland. Full travel reimbursement.
20-21 June	Incoming District Officer Training, Silver Oaks Inn (formerly Quality Inn), 477 Gt South Road, Papatoetoe, Auckland. Full travel reimbursement.
By 30 June	Club and Officer Information submitted to World Headquarters All 2008-09 Award applications submitted to World Headquarters
30 June	Toastmasters Year ends
1 July 2009	District and Club Officers officially take office Area Governor 1^st round club visits begin
1 July-31 August	Club Officer Training Divisions A-G
Mid July	Distinguished District Results announced by Toastmasters International
31 July	TI Proxies to District Governor
Early August	District 72 Toastmaster of the Year Award announced
August	Club Contests completed. For those clubs who have not yet held their Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contests. Notify Area Governors of winners.
09-10 August	Senior District 72 Officer Training, in Mashantucket, Connecticut, USA
12-15 August	International Convention in Mashantucket, Connecticut, USA
31 August	Club Officer Training for 2009-10, 1^st round, completed
August	Clubs send out Dues Invoice to members
September	Area Contests completed. For those Areas who have not yet held their Humorous and Table Topics Contests. Notify Division Governors of winners.
5-6 September	District Officer Training, Silver Oaks Inn (formerly Quality Inn), 477 Gt South Road, Papatoetoe, Auckland. Reimbursement by schedule.
30 September	Dues Renewals due at WHQ
30 September	Club Officer Training, 1^st round, registered at World Headquarters, online or deadline postmark
30 September	Area Governor 1^st round club visits completed
3 October	Divisions A, B and C Conference if chosen to run two Conferences this calendar year. Division finals of the Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contests (if not already held)
10 October	Last day second round of Dues Renewals are registered at WHQ by 5 pm (USA Pacific Time) for DCP points
10 October	Divisions D, E, F & G Conference if chosen to run two Conferences this calendar year. Division finals of the Humorous and Table Topics Speech Contests (if not already held)
31 October	Area Governor 1^st club visit forms deadline
13 November	District Officer Training, North Shore, Auckland. Reimbursement by Schedule.
13 November	District Executive Meeting, North Shore, Auckland
14 November	District Council Meeting at District 72 Semi-Annual Convention, North Shore, Auckland
14-15 November	Finals of District 72 Table Topics and Humorous Speech Contests, District 72 Convention, North Shore, Auckland
1 December-28 February 2010	Club Officer Training, 2^nd round, begins
For Toastmasters Year continuing 1 January 2010
1 January	Area Governor, 2^nd round club visits begin (forms mailed from WHQ to Area Governors with 31 December District Performance Report)
16 January	Top four meet in Auckland to review strategy for remainder of Toastmasters year
during February	Clubs send out Dues Invoice to members
28 February	Club Officer Training, 2^nd round, completed
end February	Club Speech contests to be completed
6-7 March	District Officer Training. Silver Oaks Inn (formerly Quality Inn), 477 Gt South Road, Papatoetoe, Auckland. Reimbursement by Schedule
1-14 March	Toastmaster Weeks
20 March	Dues Renewals to New Zealand Dues Renewals Officer, Rotorua (if not sent direct to WHQ)
31 March	Club Officer Training, 2^nd round, last day reports can be registered at World Headquarters, (must be postmarked by 31 March if sent by mail)
31 March	Area Governor 2^nd club visits completed
End March	Area Speech Contests to be completed
10 April	Divisons D, E, F & G Conference. Division Speech Contest finals
10 April	Last day second round of Dues Renewals are registered at WHQ by 5 pm (USA Pacific Time) for DCP points
17 April	Divisions A, B & C Conference. Division Speech Contest finals. (3 April is Easter Weekend)
30 April	Area Governor 2^nd club visit forms deadline to District Governor
1^st meeting in May	Club Officer Elections
7 May	District Executive Meeting, Wellington. Reimbursement by schedule.
8 May	District Council Meeting at District Convention, Wellington. Reimbursement by schedule.
8-9 May	Finals of 2010 District 72 International and Evaluation Contests, District 72 Annual Convention, Wellington
By 15 June	All Clubs and District Officers advise club and officer details to District 72 Webmaster using website form.
By 30 June	All clubs advise WHQ of new club officers using website form
By 30 June	All Clubs advise WHQ of new club officers using website form. Clubs register all educational awards.
30 June	Toastmasters Year ends.
1 July 2010	New Toastmaster Year begins. New Club, District and Field Officers take office. Good luck!
