Fi McKay

With more that 35 years of executive leadership experience, Fi McKay is a trusted advocate for inclusive workplace design, workforce planning, staff retention, and unlocking the potential of multi-cultural and multi-generational teams.

As Director of Legend Transformational Leadership Company, she brings deep expertise in intercultural coaching, strategic leadership, and creating environments where diversity of background, age and experience is seen as a strength.

Fi has authored the Include Cultural Atlas Kiwi section, contributed to AI tools for cultural adaptability, and created nationally award-winning training programs. Her speciality? Translating strategic leadership into actionable, long-lasting change that empowers organisations from the grassroots to the executive level.

South Canterbury Museum

The South Canterbury Museum is located in the heart of Timaru and is a great way to learn about the natural, cultural, and social history of the region. Exhibits include fossils, local wildlife, historic photographs, and a replica of the historic aeroplane built by local inventor, Richard Pearse. Entry to this museum is free!

Timaru Botanic Gardens

The Timaru Botanic Gardens are a peaceful and beautifully maintained space right in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet walk or a relaxed catch-up with friends. You’ll find winding paths, a charming rose garden, and even a few friendly ducks around the ponds!
