Located along the East Coast of the South Island, Timaru offers plenty of options for both getting there and then moving around the city after you have arrived.
Below are some transportation options to help you plan your weekend. Make sure you keep an eye on our programme page for information about when each day is starting and finishing!
Chartered Bus to Christchurch Airport
For those who want to fly home Sunday after the Conference ends, we have chartered a bus.
Timaru (Caroline Bay Hall) to Christchurch Airport (Sunday only)
Departing 1:45pm and arriving approximately 4:15pm
Price – $50 per person

Fly to Timaru
Fly directly to Timaru Airport via Wellington. This route is serviced by Air New Zealand.
Bus to Timaru
Intercity offer an extensive network of bus services between various locations.
Drive to Timaru
Located on State Highway 1, Timaru is easy to access from either North, South or West. It takes approximately 2 hours to drive to from either Christchurch or Dunedin.
