District Elections

Every year, the District Council holds an election to fill certain District Officer roles. This is usually done during the District Council Meeting in May.

Elected roles include Division Director, Club Growth Director, Program Quality Director and District Director.

Other District Officer Roles are typically appointed by the District Director.

Information about how to apply for elected roles and how to vote for candidates will be posted on this page. We also recommend keeping an eye on the Meeting Documents page for information about when District Council Meetings will be taking place.

District Leadership Nominations

Nominations to be an Elected District Officer for the 2026-2027 Toastmasters year have now closed. Thank you to those who submitted their application on time.

The District Leadership Committee will now conduct interviews and produce a report for the Transition Business Meeting in April. Candidates will then be voted on during this meeting.

To streamline the reunification of District 72 and 112, all reports and information regarding this year’s elections will be posted on a dedicated “Transition” page. This ensures that that can be easily accessed by members from both Districts and we are not duplicating information.
