As the District 72 leadership report is incomplete, District 72 is now calling for Floor Candidates as per Toastmasters Policy for the following roles
All floor candidates must be qualified or eligible and have a signed and submitted District Leader Agreement and Release statement. This are available on the Elections page.
Those intending to stand from the floor must inform the District Director Kathryn Duncan by the 6 May 2023, which is 1 week prior to the District council meeting.
Floor candidates must be nominated by a member of the District Council or self-nominated if they are currently a member of the District Council. If the floor candidate is absent and has appointed a representative to speak on their behalf, the representative must not be a member of the District Executive Committee, a member of the DLC, a Credentials Chair, or a meeting official, as identified by the District Director. Any candidate may be nominated for a maximum of two roles at the annual District Council meeting.

The incoming 2023/24 District Director can appoint qualified members into any unfilled roles after the election.
Nominations are now open for the District 72 elected roles for the 2023/2024 year. These roles include:
Nomination Period runs from Thursday 1 December to Sunday 29 January 2023. After this, the District Leadership Committee will conduct interviews and present their recommendations during the May District Council Meeting.
